The strength of manufacturing in our region has attracted a series of federally-funded manufacturing institutes looking to bolster and support the vibrant manufacturing economy of the region. The future of manufacturing in our region rests on a new wave of innovation that includes the use of robots for automation, IoT hardware and software to monitor processes, and analytics to deliver actionable insights on the energy demands of buildings and manufacturing equipment.
