In 2013, Duke Energy convened smart grid, software, and communications leaders to examine how it could create a simpler and more cost-effective electric grid. Nearly three years later, Duke Energy's Coalition of the Willing project has made significant progress.
We invite you to join us for a continental breakfast Friday, March 18, 2016 from 8:00 am – 10:00 am at the Research Triangle Foundation Headquarters to learn how Duke Energy is collaborating with industry competitors to transform the grid and incorporate additional renewable energy resources. Jason Handley, Director of Smart Grid Emerging Technology and Operations for Duke Energy, will provide an overview of Duke Energy's Coalition of the Willing and what it will mean for the future of energy.
Following the overview, a panel of Coalition of the Willing participants will discuss their role in the project and some of the lessons they learned from their participation.
