The energy sector created 7% of new jobs in the U.S. in 2017.
What is driving this growth? And how can the Research Triangle region benefit?
With 350+ cleantech companies and a growing network of smart cities and connected communities, the Research Triangle is uniquely positioned to capture this job growth and drive sustainability in our region.
Join RTCC and David Foster from the Energy Futures Initiative on September 20 for a critical conversation about the 'third wave' of job growth in the Research Triangle.
Mr. Foster is a Distinguished Associate of the Energy Futures Initiative, former senior advisor to U.S. Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz, and architect of the U.S. Energy and Employment Report.
Mr. Foster will share the latest report and insights on how innovations in energy efficiency, manufacturing, construction, electric vehicles, utilities, and renewable energy are driving employment growth.
A panel on the state and future of cleantech jobs will follow.
