Greentech Media - Reinventing the Grid: National & Regional Trends
Join the Duke University Energy Initiative and the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster as we welcome Greentech Media journalist (and Duke alumnus) Julian Spector back to North Carolina for a chat about nationwide trends in grid modernization. Julian will be joined by Bobby Simpson (Director of Grid Improvement Plan Integration, Duke Energy), who’ll share his perspective on grid modernization efforts in our region, including energy storage, renewables, grid resiliency, and communications/security upgrades. Brian Murray (Director of the Duke University Energy Initiative) will moderate a Q&A session. Networking and light refreshments will follow.
